Job Role Summary:
This position is responsible for performing various routine assignments by following detailed work instructions that require limited judgment and decision-making to complete.
Main Responsibilities:
* Provide technical support on complex automation assembly equipment to achieve a high level of equipment reliability and quality product with minimal defects.
* Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance, completing all associated paperwork, records and CMMS in accordance with cGMP standards.
* Ensure PMs and Calibrations are performed 100% on time.
* Support the implementation of process improvements to achieve more efficient operations.
* Assist with the commissioning of new equipment/projects.
* Maintain an adequate stock of spare parts.
* Demonstrate flexibility in maintaining various equipment and technologies, both electrical and mechanical.
* Complete assigned continuous improvement projects and train others as required.
* Be flexible to work a shift pattern and available to travel to support new equipment and/or training
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* Level 6 HETAC qualification in mechanical, control and automation engineering, electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics or other suitable technical discipline.
* Qualified trade personnel with a minimum of 6 months hands-on experience in pneumatics, electronics, hydraulics, programmable controllers, servo motor drives, vision systems, ultrasonic welding or workshop machining.
* Experience in mechanical/electrical/high volume automation/robotics.
