About This Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Junior Sous Chef to join our team. As a key member of the kitchen brigade, you will be responsible for supporting the Sous Chef and Head Chef in maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation.
Main Responsibilities:
* Support sections to ensure dishes are cooked to agreed standards, checking quality, flavour, seasoning and presentation.
* Supervise kitchen operations in the absence of senior chefs, ensuring smooth service delivery.
* Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering to minimize waste within budget constraints.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, equipment and storage areas.
Candidates We Are Looking For
• At least 3-5 years experience working in a busy high-volume kitchen.
• Culinary school diploma or equivalent qualification required.
• Excellent knowledge of HACCP procedures is essential.
