Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Accommodation Porter to join our Accommodation Team. You’ll play a key role in supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of our accommodation services, ensuring a welcoming and well-maintained environment for all guests/residents.
Responsibilities
* Assist with the moving and setup of furniture and equipment in rooms and communal areas
* Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of accommodation areas, including hallways and storage spaces
* Deliver linens, toiletries, and other supplies to rooms as required
* Support housekeeping and maintenance teams with logistical tasks
* Respond promptly to guest/resident requests or incidents
* Ensure safety standards and company policies are followed at all times
* Report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate department
Qualifications
* Physically fit and able to lift and move furniture and equipment
* Reliable, punctual, and well-organized
* Friendly and approachable with good communication skills
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
* Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not essential
* Flexibility to cover weekends as required
