Accounting Expertise is required with 4 plus years experience in an Accountancy and Business Consultancy setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the preparation and review of year-end accounts, management accounts, VAT returns, and corporation and income tax filings;
• Maintain excellent relationships with a portfolio of clients through regular contact, advice, and proactive support;
• Be the go-to expert for clients with complex technical queries on tax, compliance, or reporting matters;
• Provide advisory services such as cash flow planning, profit improvement, and restructuring;
Team Leadership & Development
• Manage, support, and develop junior and intermediate accounting staff, including performance reviews and technical training;
• Ensure high standards of accuracy and compliance through structured review processes and coaching;
Practice Development & Strategy
• Work closely with Partners to identify growth opportunities, improve internal systems, and deliver strategic projects;
• Play a hands-on role in business development, including proposals, onboarding, and new service lines;
• Implement and optimize workflows using best-in-class accounting and cloud tools;
Requirements
• ACA / ACCA / CPA qualified (or equivalent);
• Minimum 4 years' recent experience in an Irish accountancy practice;
• Excellent technical knowledge of Irish GAAP, Corporation Tax, Income Tax, and VAT;
• Demonstrated experience managing a team and a portfolio of clients;
• Highly proficient in cloud-based and traditional accounting platforms;
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and document management systems;
