Job Description
The Business Process Architect will be a key member of the Global Process Team, responsible for understanding the company's business strategy, North Star operating vision, and how they affect technology imperatives. This individual will manage a team that defines strategic, core, and support processes affecting all functional and regional groups.
This role requires partnering with various stakeholders to ensure adoption of best practices and standardization of business architecture outputs across the organization.
Responsibilities:
* Understand the company's business strategy, operating vision, and how they affect technology imperatives.
* Define opportunities to create business value for the organization.
* Help define the performance goals, metrics, and key milestones for proposed solutions.
* Review prototypes, enterprise blueprints, and the scope of initiatives to meet business imperatives.
* Increase the level of business and IT leaders' confidence in solutions.
* Identify risks and assumptions associated with functional elements of solutions.
* Advocate and drive adoption of best practices to ensure standardization of business architecture outputs across the organization.
* Work closely with solution/technical architects to deliver business architecture artifacts needed for End-to-End Architecture & Solution Architecture Approach deliverables.
About the Role:
This position requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
The ideal candidate will have experience in management consulting, business operations, or process improvement roles, with a proven track record of managing complex projects and programs.
Requirements:
* Several years of experience in management consulting, business operations, or process improvement roles.
* Must have experience managing a team.
* Insurance industry experience in commercial P&C preferred.
* Demonstrable experience standing up, leading, and managing complex projects and programs for senior leadership.
* Strong critical thinking and analytical reasoning (quantitative and qualitative) that can be applied in a problem-solving scenario.
* Mastery of executive-level communications development and high-degree of proficiency in working communicating with senior business leaders.
