Software Quality Assurance Role
This position is ideal for a detail-oriented and innovative Software Test Engineer who wants to make an immediate impact on a rapidly growing platform.
* Develop and execute comprehensive Quality/Test strategies, including integration and functional testing.
* Review project timelines, focusing on test plans and acceptance criteria.
* Design and maintain test automation frameworks, tools, and test suites.
* Collaborate closely with the engineering team to embed quality and testing standards throughout the development lifecycle.
* Build robust test automation frameworks using industry-standard tools such as Playwright.
Key Responsibilities:
* Experience in debugging and testing UI and Java/JVM-based applications.
* Proficiency with modern quality engineering and test automation tools (e.g., JUnit, Jenkins, Selenium, TestNG, JMeter).
* Strong background in creating test automation scripts from scratch using OOP languages and frameworks like Selenium.
* Familiarity with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
* Experience testing web applications built with technologies like JavaScript, Angular, or jQuery.
* Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
* Ability to create effective acceptance and integration test automation scripts, integrating them with continuous integration systems like Jenkins or Bamboo, and utilizing code coverage tools like Sonar or Clover.
* Exposure to performance engineering requirements is a plus.
* Experience testing cloud applications is desirable.
* Familiarity with developing Java-based web services is a bonus but not required.
