The Group is structured across two divisions: Ornua Foods and Ornua Ingredients. Ornua Foods manages the marketing and sales of the company’s consumer brands, including Kerrygold and other dairy products, across a global portfolio of production facilities and markets. Ornua Ingredients focuses on the procurement, processing, and sale of dairy ingredients while managing volatility through trading and de‑risking strategies.

Business Partnering
* Partner with the Finance Director and Leadership Team to deliver actionable insights that optimise operational and commercial performance.
* Drive decision‑making through robust financial analysis on capital investment, cost‑saving and innovation initiatives.
* Collaborate with Group and Foods Finance to ensure transparency and alignment on financial performance.
* Influence leadership decisions using a broad understanding of site operations.
* Build strong relationships with Ops FBPs and financial accountants to identify synergies and drive functional improvements.
* Promote financial literacy among non‑finance colleagues.
Financial Performance Management
* Deliver monthly performance analysis and recommend corrective actions to achieve EBITA targets.
* Conduct variance analysis against budget and provide clear narratives on deviations.
* Generate detailed financial reports using data analytics to track performance against KPIs, budgets and forecasts.
* Lead periodic cost reviews with budget owners to ensure financial targets are met.
Budgeting and Forecasting
* Lead the annual budgeting process, delivering a comprehensive and initiative‑driven business plan.
* Prepare detailed quarterly forecasts and submit monthly flash forecasts.
* Develop P&Ls for the 5‑Year strategic planning cycle.
Strategic Projects & Ad Hoc Support
* Provide cover for the Finance Director as needed.
* Support the finance team during peak periods.
* Contribute to miscellaneous project work across the business.
Key Requirements and Competencies
* Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA) with 3+ years PQE.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office; advanced Excel preferred.
* Experience with ERP systems and BI tools is an advantage.
* Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to lead and drive change.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Commercially astute with strong analytical skills and problem‑solving capabilities.
* Experience operating as a business partner to non‑finance functions.
* Highly motivated, dynamic and adaptable.
* International experience is welcome.
