About The Role
Are you an experienced environmental consultant with a proven track record in delivering complex projects for diverse clients? Do you have expertise in areas such as aquaculture, ports and harbours, offshore renewable energy, or related fields? AQUAFACT, part of the APEM Group, is seeking a Principal Consultant to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead project delivery teams, managing skills, subcontractors, planning, and budgets for complex consultancy projects.
Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Mentor and develop team members, fostering a high-performance and engaged work environment.
Ensure the quality and standards of technical work meet client expectations.
Collaborate with the senior management team to expand environmental consultancy services and achieve growth objectives.
Manage client relationships, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Support the professional development of junior staff.
Contribute to the evolution of the company’s workplace culture and strategic goals.
Qualifications and Experience
BSc or MSc in a relevant field, with a minimum of five years’ experience in environmental consultancy.
Significant experience in at least one of the following sectors: aquaculture, ports and harbours, or offshore renewable energy.
Experience with project management software such as Deltek.
Proven ability to lead projects, manage budgets, and meet deadlines.
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Line management experience.
Experience in preparing proposals and tenders.
Full driving license.
