Renowned for consistently delivering high-quality projects across the commercial, residential, and healthcare sectors, theyre now looking to expand their commercial team with the addition of a Junior Quantity Surveyor. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven QS with around 34 years experience to join a progressive and reputable company that offers strong career development and exposure to a wide range of building projects. The Role As Junior Quantity Surveyor, youll play a key role in supporting the commercial and site teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects. Responsibilities include: Liaising with clients, project managers, and consultants Managing commercial and contractual relationships with subcontractors and suppliers Measuring, pricing, and negotiating budgets and variations Attending pre-contract and progress meetings, following up on agreed actions Preparing and maintaining procurement schedules Issuing tender invitations, analysing quotes, and making recommendations Drafting subcontractor orders and assessing payment entitlements Carrying out site visits to measure and value completed works Monitoring project performance and assisting with cost/value reporting Supporting the senior QS and project team with overall project delivery What Were Looking For Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management 24 years experience with a building contractor Clean irish drivers license Strong communication and organisational skills Proficient in Microsoft Office suite Motivated, proactive, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team Skills: Quantity Surveying
