Job Overview:
Lir Chocolates is seeking dedicated operational team members to join us in temporary, seasonal roles. As an operational team member, you'll work on a factory line performing operational tasks, adhering to health and safety standards, ensuring product quality, and communicating effectively with team members.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operate production line machinery safely and efficiently (after training).
2. Pack, weigh, and label products according to company standards.
3. Monitor product quality and report any defects or issues.
4. Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organised work area.
5. Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
6. Carry out routine cleaning of equipment and production areas.
7. Assist with loading/unloading materials and moving stock as required.
8. Accurately complete any necessary production or quality records.
9. Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily targets.
10. Follow instructions from team leaders and supervisors.
11. Be flexible and willing to support different areas of production as needed.
12. Adhere to all health and safety guidelines.
13. Ability to work on own initiative whilst working as part of a team.
14. A good attitude and approach to work.
15. Ability to communicate - verbal, written and reading.
16. Punctual and Hardworking.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, be able to follow instructions accurately, and have a strong attention to detail. You should also be physically fit, able to work at heights, and comfortable with repetitive tasks.
