Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Research Communications Manager - SBI/POI within UCD School of Medicine/Systems Biology Ireland We are seeking an experienced and strategic Communications Manager to lead the dissemination and stakeholder engagement efforts at the Systems Biology Ireland (SBI) Centre in UCD. This pivotal role will ensure that research outputs are effectively communicated across diverse audiences, from patients and clinicians to charities, policymakers, and the broader public, with clarity, transparency, and impact. The Communications Manager will be a member of the operations team leading on narrative development, media engagement, internal and external communications strategy, and alignment of messaging across partner organisations, including academic institutions, charities, non-profits, industry, and hospitals. The Communications Manager will dedicate a significant portion of their time to supporting delivery of Precision Oncology Ireland (POI2), a national, multi-institutional consortium coordinated by SBI which is advancing patient-centred precision oncology research across the island of Ireland. Fixed Salary: €65,500 - €66,600 Per Annum Appointment on the above range will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.
