Job Title: Chief Financial Operations Officer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Operations Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the financial operations of a national transport initiative, working closely with senior finance leadership to develop and manage financial operations.
* Supporting senior finance management with core operational functions including administration of grant payments, collation and analysis of financial returns, preparation and ongoing forecasting of programme-level budgets, mentoring junior team members, cost analysis, reviewing monthly financial reporting packs.
* Liaising with regional partners to understand cost drivers and resolve discrepancies; preparing management reporting packs; contributing to project initiatives such as systems development, reporting enhancements.
The ideal candidate will have a recognised accounting qualification, at least 5 years' experience in PQE (post-qualification experience), commercial acumen, strong problem-solving skills analytical skills ability to manage multiple priorities advanced Excel skills MS Office proficiency excellent communication interpersonal self-motivated proactive mindset.
