One of Ireland's most reputable Main Contractors is currently seeking an experienced and driven Senior Engineer who is detail focused and ambitious, to join a large civils project in County Mayo.
The successful candidate will be joining a close-knit team with the opportunity to fast track your career to Project Management with a company renowned for their career progression opportunities.
As a Senior Engineer, you will directly report to the Project Manager on-site. You will work collaboratively with the design team and Quality Manager to ensure the quality assurance and control of pavement, roadworks and finishing works.
Senior Engineer Key Responsibilities:
1. Design review of submissions for all required elements
2. Review quality of work on all ongoing works
3. Prepare estimates and participate in tender reviews as required
4. Liaise with the Construction/Project Manager, client and supplier on technical matters as required
5. Review and advise the design team of any modifications needed to the detailed road designs
Senior Engineer Key Responsibilities:
6. 5+ years concrete/pavement or asphalt construction experience
7. Experience in highway works
8. Valid driver license
9. Positive attitude and ability to lead and manage packages
