Lead Regulatory Engagement and Price Control Submissions
A leading organisation is seeking a Price Control Manager to oversee regulatory engagement and lead price control submissions to regulators in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
This strategic role supports the company's ambition to repurpose its national network into a fully decarbonised energy system powered by renewable gases. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
1. Preparing, coordinating, and submitting 5-year price control reviews for transmission and distribution operations in both jurisdictions.
2. Aligning regulatory strategies with the company's vision and national climate objectives.
3. Managing cross-functional teams, project plans, budgets, and governance structures to ensure timely and high-quality submissions.
4. Building strong working relationships with regulatory bodies and leading formal negotiations.
5. Ensuring effective implementation and monitoring of regulatory decisions, including incentives, reporting, and compliance requirements.
6. Tracking developments in external regulatory, policy, and market environments to inform strategic planning and future submissions.
The ideal candidate will have:
* 7–10+ years' relevant experience with a degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field.
* Proven success in stakeholder engagement, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic communication.
* Strong project management and coordination capabilities, ideally with experience in complex regulatory, infrastructure, or similar projects.
* Commercial and financial acumen, particularly in regulated environments involving large-scale capital investment.
* Ability to distil complex technical, operational, and financial issues into clear messaging for decision-makers.
