About The Role
As a Senior Social Worker, you will play a pivotal role in supporting individuals living with an acquired brain injury. The role combines direct therapeutic work with leadership responsibilities, including supervision, service development and contributing to organisational strategy.
This is a Permanent, Full‑Time, 35 hours contract. The role will be Hybrid with an office base in one of our Midwest locations: Limerick, Clare or North Tipperary. The salary range is €67153‑€77460 – DOE.
What You’ll Be Doing

Deliver compassionate, person‑centred social work assessments supporting clients with an acquired brain injury and their families
Provide emotional and practical support, advocating for clients’ needs around adjustment, relationships, bereavement and financial matters
Lead safeguarding efforts for vulnerable adults and children, including risk identification and liaison with statutory bodies
Supervise, mentor and induct Social Work staff and students, contributing to a high‑performing team culture
Collaborate across the interdisciplinary team and external agencies to enhance support services and drive strategic goals
Maintain high standards in case recording, reporting, professional development and compliance with CORU and best practice guidelines

Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a skilled, compassionate and confident Senior Social Worker who brings strong clinical judgement, emotional resilience and a deep commitment to person‑centred practice. You will have advanced clinical expertise in assessment, therapeutic intervention, safeguarding and complex case management, ideally within disability, neurorehabilitation or health and social care settings. You will be comfortable in a leadership role while working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team. A natural advocate, you will promote autonomy, dignity and inclusion for people with acquired brain injuries, building strong relationships with families, carers and external agencies. You will also demonstrate emotional resilience and the ability to guide individuals and families through challenging transitions. CORU registration and a commitment to ongoing professional development are essential.
