The Role
As an Intermediate/Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will lead professional quantity surveying and construction cost consultancy services by overseeing the creation of contract documents, including bills of quantities and tender documentation, to ensure projects are completed efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and review contract documents to guarantee alignment with project requirements.
2. Possess 'Project QS' knowledge and act as a key liaison between clients and stakeholders in public and private sector projects.
3. Utilize data analysis skills to monitor project advancement and maintain budgetary control, ensuring timely completion.
4. Maintain effective communication with the team and clients to foster strong working relationships.
Essential Requirements:
1. Hold a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field, with relevant work experience in a similar role.
2. Lead procurement and cost management for both public and private sector projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
3. Demonstrate a solid background in Quantity Surveying, preferably in consultancy over contractor settings.
4. Possess a BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying and be registered under the Building Control Act, with a focus on Quality Assurance processes and team management.
5. Stay up-to-date with industry software, such as Buildsoft Cubit or Cost X, and possess strong IT skills.
6. A valid driving licence is required for occasional travel to project sites.
