About The Role
Ops Tech IT Support Engineers will be responsible for utilizing their skills to provide assistance to the operations team in resolving technical problems within these sites that cover a multitude of technical disciplines. The IT Support Engineers position is the first level of support for the operations of the Amazon Sites and becomes the voice and face of the IT department to our customers. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Maintenance of IT equipment throughout the Fulfillment sites.
* Troubleshooting all IT-related equipment such as PCs, wireless handheld devices, thin clients, printers, and other end-user devices.
* Managing RMA and repair processes for all devices under warranty.
* Supporting the Senior Engineers in daily projects and activities as directed.
* Participating in rotation shifts between days and nights.
* Engaging in physical warehouse activities as required.
* Supporting multiple buildings around the area and traveling to sites within the region.
* Ensuring all safety procedures are followed during work.
This position reports directly to the IT manager for the Fulfillment sites.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* 1+ years of corporate setting support experience with Windows, Mac, or Linux operating systems.
* Experience troubleshooting integrated and interdependent computer systems.
* Experience maintaining zebra thermal printers, troubleshooting thin clients, PCs, scanners, and portable handheld terminals.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco/CCNA, Linux (Redhat), Microsoft hardware, AWS, or other industry-relevant certifications.
* Experience in a dynamic environment with a high degree of customer service.
