Cork, County Cork, Ireland Corporate FunctionsDescriptionWe are seeking an experienced, collaborative, and highly motivated senior facilities and construction professional with a demonstrated focus in leading outstanding workplaces with a record of delivering high quality results at the best value to join our team as Places Regional Lead in Ireland.The role will report to EMEA Facilities, Operations and Engineering Lead.ResponsibilitiesThe Regional Lead will lead an experienced team of engineering and facilities professionals to deliver, manage, maintain Apple EMEA Corporate portfolio in Ireland.You will represent Places Global team in Ireland, you will invest in people and develop this team.You will oversee various programs to foster consistency across teams in Places.You will actively lead the portfolio to ensure compliance to local regulations, driving efficiencies and ensuring the real estate portfolio is future proofed to enable Apples business.You will partner across all BUs in Cork and Dublin and actively support Ireland Site Leadership across Places and People initiatives.You will consistently deliver projects on time and within budget to the high quality that is expected of Apple’s Places.You will support Places initiatives to enable becoming the Global leader in operational excellence. Consistently operate and maintain Places across EMEA providing excellence in service to our partners.Minimum QualificationsExtensive knowledge of and experience with the upkeep and function of owned real estate portfolio, buildings, building systems, machinery, landscape, and quality improvement projectsCapability to diagnose, manage and resolve maintenance issues quickly and efficiently, including experience prioritising and assigning repairsCapital and operating expense planning skills; strong resource management abilities, including balancing end user requirements with constantly changing fiscal requirements and personnel resources/constraintsDemonstrated ability to create, critique, and oversee preventative and scheduled maintenance programsExperience building and maintaining relationships with facility operation, maintenance & services companies, utility companies, government agencies, architectural & design firms, and general contracting firmsExcellent people leadership, communication, and supervisory skills.Experience working with all levels of an organisation and ability to handle customer service issues involving employees in a professional and positive mannerSome travel may be necessary.Preferred QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial), or Building Construction Management equivalent.Exceptional experience in detail-oriented, Facility Management, high-quality construction and project management of complex real estate portfolio.Obsessed with customer service and making buildings outstanding workplaces Self-starter, highly motivated to succeed and provide best-in-class Facilities services with demonstrated ability to balance the trade-offs between operational risk and investment, constantly seeking the highest quality and design at the best valueDemonstrated experience with conservation and sustainable building maintenance practicesDemonstrated success in employee development and mentoring including fostering collaboration, continuous performance feedback and motivating the team to develop and apply tools for more efficient operations and improved customer serviceDemonstrated ability to bring cross-functional teams together within and outside the Real Estate & Development function, including Security, IS&T, Finance, Corporate Communications, and Procurement to ensure standard methodologies and continual process improvement;
