Bluecrest Wellness is a health intelligence company delivering high-quality health assessments across the UK and Ireland. The role is a Field Based Trainee Phlebotomist (Health Assessment Specialist) working in Northern Ireland, with a starting salary of £20,837.25 per year plus commission, overtime, expenses and benefits. Internal title: Health Assessment Specialist. Location focus includes Newry, Camlough, Bessbrook, Killeavy, Whitecross areas. We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds and experience levels.

Responsibilities, hours and day-to-day
* Work 3 x 10-hour shifts per week (total 30 hours). Shifts can occur between 6am and 10pm, Monday to Sunday, allocated 3 weeks in advance by our resource planner.
* Travel up to 2 hours to the venue; some days may require public transport depending on venue type.
* Work across multiple venues within the region, with varying environments and new sites to support quality and consistency.
* Plan your route, travel to the venue, unpack and set up kit, greet customers, and conduct assessments (typically 10–45 minutes per appointment; expect 15–22 customers per day).
* Perform health assessments as part of customer packages (e.g., PAD, ECG, Phlebotomy once qualified, Lung Function, Body Composition, short fitness tests) and advise on appropriate follow-up testing when relevant; update and maintain administration records.
* Note: You will not relay results or further lifestyle advice to customers after assessments are complete.
Requirements
* A full UK driver’s license and access to a car to transport kit to venues; ability to store kit items at home.
* Flexibility to work any days Monday–Sunday and any times 6am–10pm on a rota basis (examples: 6am–4pm, 8am–6pm, 1pm–10pm).
* Proficiency with computers/laptops/phones/tablets.
* Clear DBS check (we will process this on your behalf).
* Ability to travel up to 2 hours from home location and occasional overnight stays as required.
* Residency within the correct distance of the regional location.
* Willingness to attend our Milton Keynes head office for the first 2 weeks of training (Mon–Fri, two weeks).
* Genuine willingness to learn and acquire new skills.
* Enhanced criminal records check required as part of onboarding (covered by us).
* All roles require a satisfactory criminal record check as part of onboarding.
