A leading financial services firm is seeking a Java Developer to join their team. You'll work in an Agile environment on impactful tools used by portfolio managers, covering areas like ESG analysis, behavioral finance, and research.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using Java, SQL, Python, and Angular.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle within Agile teams.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Work on data modelling and back-end system design.
Requirements
- 3+ years experience in a similar role
- Experience in Java (Core Java / J2EE) and relational databases.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
- Experience with Angular (v2+), REST APIs, and Python.
- Familiarity with SQL Server or Oracle.
- Exposure to Unix/Linux environments.
- Comfortable using Git, Maven, Jenkins.
- Minimum stamp 4 Visa and live within a commutable distance to Dublin
Nice to Have: Knowledge of Superset, Dagster, Trino, or AWS S3.
On Offer - €70-80K + Bonus + Full health & dental you spouse & dependants, pension @ 10%
