IT Support EngineerMy Client are looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join their team.This role involves providing technical support to end-users and maintaining IT infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, and performance.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support and assistance to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.Manage and maintain network services, including DNS, DHCP, and server administration.Administer and troubleshoot Office 365 services and Azure, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams.Configure and support desktops, laptops, RDP, tablets, and mobile devices.Collaborate with application and system teams to maintain network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, routers, switches, and firewalls.Monitor network performance, identify and resolve issues to minimise downtime.Implement and maintain IT security measures, including antivirus software and firewalls.Develop and maintain documentation of network configurations and troubleshooting guides.Assist in planning and executing IT projects, such as system upgrades and deployments.Stay updated with industry trends and best practices related to IT security, Office 365, and server support.Provide training and guidance to end-users on IT-related topics.Participate in on-call rotation and after-hours support as needed.Resolve tickets within SLA and document troubleshooting steps.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.5+ years of experience in a similar role.Strong troubleshooting skills for complex technical issues.Proficiency in DNS, DHCP, Azure, and Office 365 services.Experience with network infrastructure components like routers, switches, and firewalls.Excellent communication skills for conveying technical information to non-technical users.Knowledge of network patching, switches, and wireless installations.Strong focus on continuous improvement and personal development.Passion for technology and its application in business.Ability to manage workload, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.Certifications in Azure Administration and Server Management.Eligible to work and reside in Ireland.Full-time on-site role, Monday to Friday.
