OverviewPrincipal Process Engineer - Waste Water role at JacobsJoin Jacobs to work on high-profile, multi-year frameworks and projects delivering design, build and asset management of wastewater treatment systems, pumping stations and sewer networks across Ireland and the UK.ResponsibilitiesLead cross-functional Engineering and Technology initiatives and pilot systems including membrane bioreactors, anaerobic digestion, etc.Develop process flow diagrams and layout plans.Select appropriate treatment technologies (e.g., MBR, SBR).Develop and implement corrective actions to restore optimal performance.Project manage the delivery of wastewater infrastructure throughout a project lifecycle.Develop and implement process optimization solutions.Collaborate with civil, mechanical, and electrical engineers on plant new builds and upgrades.What you’ll needExperience with water and/or wastewater networksExperience with water and/or wastewater treatment worksMass water conveyanceHeat transferBioresourceProject Engineering/ManagementWaste to EnergyQualificationsA Masters Degree or equivalent in Chemical or Environmental Engineering and Chartered Status (CEng) with a recognised Professional Institute would be beneficial.About Jacobs, Inclusion & BenefitsJoining Jacobs connects you locally and globally.
