The Role The Collections and Trade Counter Salesperson is responsible for serving customers at both the collections area and trade counter. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role requiring high levels of customer service, organisation, and attention to detail, along with supporting warehouse operations. Key Responsibilities Provide prompt, friendly, and professional service to customers at the trade counter and collections area Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for collection and delivery Maintain clean, organised, and safe working areas, including front-of-house spaces Ensure all inbound and outbound goods are checked for accuracy and quality Process sales and returns using internal systems in line with company procedures Replenish stock and assist with inventory control, including stock counts Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams regarding order status Stay up to date with product knowledge and support customer queries Follow all health and safety procedures and company standards Support continuous improvement and assist with general duties as required Requirements Manual Handling certification Strong customer service and communication skills Good organisational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic computer literacy (experience with stock or sales systems an advantage) Knowledge of heating, plumbing, or trade products is beneficial but not essential Fluent English and eligibility to work in Ireland What's on Offer Competitive salary and bonus scheme Annual leave with service increases Pension scheme and life/illness cover Training, development, and career progression opportunities Employee support programmes and staff discounts Supportive and team-oriented working environment Benefits: penion
