Operations Director 5* Hotel Co Waterford
We are currently recruiting Operations Director to join our Client and lead the Management team in their beautiful 5* Co Waterford Hotel.
The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing the Hotel and the role reports directly to the GM. You are responsible for overseeing the property and ensuring all guests receive the highest standards of service and attention, a warm welcome and an enjoyable and memorable visit.
Knowledge and experience in the following areas is essential:
A minimum of 3 years senior Management experience as Hotel Operations / Deputy Manager in a 5* Hotel.
Previous experience in delivering seamless food and beverage service to Michelin Star standard.
Experience and ability to introduce new Food and Beverage and Event concepts
Extensive experience managing Rooms, Sales, Finance, HR, Daily Operations
Excellent IT Skills including a proficient user of MS Office and excel
Personal Qualities
Ability to show a positive attitude towards guests and colleagues at all times.
Be self-motivated, being able to work alone with good personal organization.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Exceptional attention to detail, organisational, negotiation and communication skills are a must including fluent spoken and written English.
Duties include but are not exclusive to:
Maximize revenue by effective management of the Hotels operations across the food and beverage outlets, develop new Revenue streams and service opportunities
Managing payroll costs of all departments
To organise the efficient operation of all Events and Food & Beverage outlets.
Ensure effective Staff communication and recruitment processes are in place
Develop and implement effective and appropriate training for all employees
Further business development of the Hotel, especially in the Wedding market.
Be a visible strong presence across the food and beverage outlets, mobilizing and providing direction to your departmental managers. Assume full control of the Hotel when General Manager is off-site
