Job Role: MEP Quantity Surveyor
As a critical member of our project team, you will be responsible for developing and managing cost estimates for all project phases, tender documents, contracts, drawings, Bill of Quantities (BoQ), specifications, budgets, and maintaining accurate records. You will also perform material take-offs prior to purchase requisitions, report irregularities to the project management, and implement post-contract duties including measurements, final accounts, and evaluation reports. Additionally, you will oversee subcontractor works, evaluate claims, variations, invoices, and ensure contractual obligations are satisfied. You will collaborate closely with the project team to ensure that measurements, variations, and contractual matters are properly recorded and notified.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects.
2. Develop and manage budgets.
3. Perform material take-offs and prepare BoQs.
4. Evaluate claims, variations, and invoices.
5. Ensure contractual obligations are met.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or Mechanical Engineering
5+ years of Quantity surveying / Mechanical Engineering experience
Technical and practical knowledge of all phases of contract development, award, administration, and close-out relating to a multi-discipline civil/construction project
Capability to accept responsibilities and accomplish project objectives in a timely manner
Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
Good communication skills and strong English capability
