Clinical Nurse Manager Role Summary
The Lakes Nursing Home is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality nursing care to our residents.
Your primary focus will be on maintaining excellent clinical standards, supervising medication administration, and performing comprehensive assessments of residents. You will also be responsible for staffing supervision and training, as well as auditing various aspects of our care services.
To succeed in this role, you must possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and sound decision-making powers. Previous managerial experience is advantageous but not essential if you have first-level registration with the NMBI live register.
Responsibilities:
* Maintain highest standards of nursing care for each resident by ensuring home policies are always practiced
* Supervise medication administration and compliance by nursing staff
* Perform comprehensive assessments of residents and monitor ongoing modifications
* Liaise with GPs regarding medication reviews
* Audit recent admissions to ensure appropriate documentation practices
The ideal candidate should have exceptional interpersonal skills combined with result-driven work ethic. A thorough understanding of health & safety audits would also enhance their application.
