We know our people are our greatest asset and our success is down to the commitment and dedication of our team.In this role you will complete a strategic purchasing function at a national level working closely with the national buying team, while also collaborating with the Customer Insights team in our International HQ in Germany. The main aim of the position is to ensure that our customers' shopping experience is the best it can be and to help in optimizing our product offering to our customers. You will work across several business areas including purchasing, merchandising and marketing and will look at Lidl's shopper needs and analyse data to explore consumer behaviour.What You'll DoLeadership of the Social Agenda and Social Strategy in the local market while ensuring alignment with the INT strategyCollaborate with the strategy, campaign, Sponsorship events, and operational marketing and production teams to define relevant content requirementsResponsibility for all content of the consumer social channels - from brainstorming to implementationPlanning of activations taking into account international requirementsCollaborate with INT and other markets to share ideas, best practices and key insightsManagement and control of influencer marketingImplementation, adaptation, development and production of new communication ideas, which are mainly communicated in own channelsCollaborate with the paid social media teamCollaborate with the media team on channel monitoring, reporting and performance measurement of national activities with local and INT KPIsAgency management for the social channelsEditorial content: Collaborate with the strategy, campaign, sponsorship, and operational marketing and production teams to define relevant content requirementsLead and develop extensive content, e.g. editorials, recipes, YouTube videos, that promote a deeper connection or deeper understanding of the brandCheck international content and adjust if necessaryProduct PR: Collaboration with the strategy team to coordinate award priorities and activation strategiesCollaborate with social media team to send samples and products to key influencersClose collaboration with Corporate Affairs on key messagesCollaborate with the strategy, campaign, sponsorship, and operational marketing and production teams to define relevant content requirementsLead the development, conception and implementation of ideas that encourage talkabilityCollaborate with INT and other markets to share ideas, best practices and key insights, including possible cross-market implementationsAct as an ambassador of talkability and brand engagement across the marketing department and companyCollaborate with key stakeholders throughout the company, including Legal, Purchasing, Sale and all marketing channelsAgency management for PR and talkability ideasEnsure that all activations are implemented within the budget and core KPIsWhat You'll NeedThird level degree, ideally in a business discipline4+ Years Experience in Social Media Management on client or agency side.Marketing experience in the retail sector a distinct advantage.Must have strong people management skills.Fluent in English (German will be an advantage but not a necessity) Strong presentation skillsConfident with Google applicationsConfident and competent manner, even in challenging situationsAbility to work independentlyWilling to take occasional business trips (e.g. to International HQ in Neckarsulm, Germany)What You'll ReceiveWe offer a competitive and transparent salary system, that ensures pay equality across all positions at Lidl€76,000 rising to €100,000 after 4 yearsCompany car or car allowance25 days holidays per annumPrivate employee medical insuranceCompany pensionFlexible start and finish timesInitial training and on-going development from an experienced team memberIndividuals recognised as high performing will be invited to join our Leadership Academy as part of your on-going developmentExcellent opportunities for career progressionDynamic work environmentModern office facility with free parkingOn-site gym and canteenMaternity & Paternity Leave top up, Marriage Leave, Employee Assistance ProgrammeHybrid working model - up to 2 days remote working per weekMobile and broadband discounts with Three networkLidl is an equal opportunities employer.
