Job Title: Experienced Logistics Business Development Manager

Package: Highly Competitive (Base Salary + Bonus + Benefits)

Job Summary:

Our client, a leading multinational logistics provider offering air, sea, and road freight services, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager. The successful candidate will be a senior-level sales professional with a proven track record in selling freight services. As a key member of the business development team, you will be responsible for driving new business, fostering client relationships, and increasing revenue in line with the company's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

* New Business Acquisition: Proactively identify and engage potential clients to grow the company's customer base, with a focus on high-value freight services across air, sea, and road logistics.
* Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, ensuring ongoing client satisfaction and repeat business through exceptional service delivery and value proposition.
* Strategic Sales Planning: Develop and execute a robust sales strategy, targeting specific market segments to maximize revenue opportunities in air, sea, and road freight logistics.
* Sales Presentations & Negotiations: Lead high-level sales meetings and presentations, confidently negotiate and close large-scale contracts with senior stakeholders.
* Market Intelligence & Competitor Analysis: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market changes to effectively position the company’s services and adjust strategies accordingly.
* Collaboration & Reporting: Work closely with internal teams (operations, logistics, and finance) to ensure smooth project execution. Report regularly to senior management on sales progress, market feedback, and forecast pipeline.
* Achieving Targets: Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets while ensuring the growth of the client portfolio and expansion of services across multiple freight sectors.

Key Requirements:

* Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience in business development or sales in the logistics industry, with a strong focus on selling freight services across air, sea, and road logistics.
* Proven Track Record: A demonstrated ability to win new business at a senior level, particularly with multinational clients or large-scale accounts.
* Sales Skills: Exceptional negotiation skills, with the ability to craft tailored solutions for clients while driving profitable business outcomes.
* Relationship Building: Ability to build long-lasting and meaningful relationships with C-suite executives and other senior stakeholders in a highly competitive environment.
* Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of freight services, including air, sea, and road transportation, with a keen awareness of the challenges and opportunities within the logistics sector.
* Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and articulate complex solutions in a clear, compelling manner.
* Self-Motivated & Target-Driven: Highly self-driven, results-oriented individual capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and represent the company at key industry events or client meetings.
* Multinational Experience: Experience working with or within a multinational environment is a strong advantage.
* CRM Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) to manage sales pipelines and customer interactions effectively.
