Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Key Responsibilities
Develop, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to benchmark performance and influence decision-making around cost efficiency and operational improvements.
Lead monthly operational reporting, including variance analysis, and provide insightful presentations to senior leadership.
Calculating standard costing of products
Preparing journal entries in relation to manufacturing accounting
Margin variance analysis and investigating significant variances
Finance lead on process improvement projects in relation to costing
Business partnering with various business functions
Budgeting and Forecasting reporting
Support the preparation of management accounts
Collaborating with audit teams and providing necessary documentation for internal and external audits.
Key Skills and Competencies:
* Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
* 2-3 years experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing firm
* Self-motivated
* Experience in ERP System is desirable
