Ecommerce Manager, Ashbourne
My client is a high volume, high turnover very successful Irish Retail business with 15 stores across Ireland.
Reporting to the MD, they are recruiting and experienced Ecommerce Manager to join their head office team in Ashbourne, Meath
Salary is up to €60k, negotiable but this must reflect the level of skills and experience.
**Please note this is office based with no working from home**
As Ecommerce Manager you will be extremely sales focused and very data driven in order to make key commercial decisions to increase overall revenue, items per transaction and average order value.
You will ensure products are merchandised and categorised correctly, that the user experience is second to none and products are displayed in a way to encourage link selling and add on sales.
Responsibilities for the job of Ecommerce Manager
1. Develop and implement a successful Ecommerce strategy, delivering online sales targets, increasing profitability, and growing the online business
2. Lead all online activity: sales, conversion, traffic acquisition, a/b testing, reporting
3. Responsibility for week-by-week online sales performance for each brand category through each Ecommerce channel
4. Work with other areas of the business in driving profit, traffic and identifying new web ideas, define requirements, create projects proposals and to assist in securing the appropriate budgets and resources required to deliver them successfully
5. Optimise the usability, design, content, and conversion of the company website
6. Carry out continuous analysis of online marketing performance and use your data to make key commercial decisions
7. Responsible for all onsite promotions including merchandising product pages and landing page content as well as navigation changes
8. Act as key contact for all technical issues related to the website and liaise accordingly with the website/software developer
9. Ownership and management of data analysis to drive sales performance
10. Grow sales profitability across all channels using data that will drive us ahead of our online competitors
11. Audit and check site regularly to update content as needed
12. Use web analytics to gain insight and action changes to support the growth of the business and performance of the site
13. Work with the Marketing Manager to execute strategy through content calendars, focusing on seasonal campaigns, new product launches, and key dates e.g., Black Friday
14. Manage onsite merchandising and cross selling spaces
15. Increase the brands visibility using SEOs to drive online sales and customer engagement
