Orange Recruitment are sourcing on behalf of our client for an Audit & Risk Manager to join their team. Reporting to the Head of Governance, Risk & Compliance, this role will be key in overseeing internal audit, risk management, compliance, and insurance activities across multiple entities.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the internal audit process from planning through to reporting.
* Monitor and support implementation of audit recommendations.
* Ensure risk management strategies, policies and processes are robust and effective.
* Work with senior management to embed risk practices in operations.
* Manage insurance renewals, broker relationships, and claims.
* Oversee production of the Annual Report and support sustainability reporting.
* Drive continuous improvement through process reviews and technology adoption.
* Provide leadership and mentorship across governance, risk and audit teams.
Skills & Experience
* Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field (required).
* Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CPA) (required).
* 10+ years' post-qualification experience, including 4+ years in risk and/or audit.
* Strong analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
* Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a demanding environment.
* High proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint; experience with reporting tools an advantage.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Knowledge of ESG reporting standards desirable.
