We're supporting a
global technology and telecommunications organization
looking to strengthen its IT Sourcing capability with a
Category Sourcing Expert
who can operate independently, influence senior stakeholders, and drive best-value outcomes across enterprise IT categories.
What you'll be doing
* Leading
end-to-end strategic sourcing
activities across IT and technology categories
* Managing the full sourcing lifecycle: spend analysis, market research, RFx, bid analysis, negotiations, contracting, and supplier performance
* Negotiating commercial terms for complex agreements (Master Service Agreements, Cloud contracts, SOWs, Order Forms)
* Partnering with internal stakeholders to define requirements and guide supplier selection
* Working closely with Legal, Tax, Contract Management, and Policy teams to execute agreements
* Driving
supplier relationship management
for key vendors
* Managing multiple sourcing initiatives in parallel within a fast-paced, agile environment
* Delivering data-driven insights through financial and commercial analysis
What we're looking for
* 5+ years of experience
in IT Sourcing, Category Management, Supplier Management, or Procurement
* Strong background negotiating
technology and IT services contracts
* Experience operating in
multi-project, multi-geography
environments
* Solid understanding of commercial and contractual language
* Ability to work independently with limited supervision and lead senior-level discussions
* Strong stakeholder management, analytical, and negotiation skills
Nice to have
* Experience sourcing IT / Technology categories
* Certifications such as
CPSM, CPM, CIPS, CSCP, or Lean Six Sigma
* Hands-on experience with
SAP, Ariba
, and Microsoft / Google productivity tools
