The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Early Years Manager to lead our dedicated team and ensure the smooth and effective running of the service. This role requires a passionate leader with a strong understanding of Irish early years frameworks and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, support, and inspire a team of early years educators.
* Ensure full compliance with Tusla Early Years Quality and Regulatory Framework.
* Oversee curriculum planning in line with Aistear, Síolta, and best practice in early childhood education.
* Manage day-to-day operations including staffing, scheduling, enrolment, budgets, and administration.
* Maintain the highest standards of safeguarding, health & safety, and quality of care.
* Foster strong partnerships with children, families, staff, external agencies, and the wider community.
* Drive continuous improvement and support a culture of reflective practice.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
* A confident leader with excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Passionate about early childhood education and committed to achieving high-quality outcomes for children.
* Knowledgeable in Aistear, Síolta, and early years policy in Ireland.
* Experienced in a supervisory or management role within an early years setting.
* Flexible, motivated, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Qualifications
* Minimum: QQI Level 6 in Early Childhood Care & Education (required).
* Desirable: Level 7 or Level 8 degree in Early Childhood Education/Childcare or a related field.
* Up-to-date training in First Aid, Child Protection, and Manual Handling (or willingness to complete).
