Excel Recruitment is recruiting a Fully Qualified Accountant to join an established accountancy practice in Naas, on a permanent part-time basis.Please double check you have the right level of experience and qualifications by reading the full overview of this opportunity below.Our client provides accounting, taxation and advisory services to a broad portfolio of SME clients.This role is ideal for an accountant who enjoys hands-on client work and values flexibility and work-life balance.Duties/Responsibilities Preparation of annual and management accounts for SME Preparation and submission of Revenue returns (VAT, RCT, Payroll, Corporation Tax & Income Tax) Supporting clients with Revenue queries, including Income Tax filing deadlines Handling day-to-day client queries Liaising with tax colleagues to ensure timely filings Maintaining strong relationships with clients Requirements Professional accounting qualification (ACCA / CPA / CIMA / ACA or equivalent) 3 years practice experience working with a portfolio of SME clients Knowledge of Sage and Brightpay software Strong working knowledge of Revenue filing and compliance Ability to work independently and manage deadlines Excellent accuracy and attention to detail Full working rights in Ireland (sponsorship not offered for this role) This is a permanent part-time position,25 hours per week approx.Offering a salary of €70k- €75k DOE (PRO RATA).
