Job Description
A Quality Control Analyst is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Waterford based Pharmaceutical client. This is a 12 month contracting position.
THE ROLE:
1. Executing analytical testing in a timely manner, ensuring adherence to the committed scheduled plans.
2. Performing his/her tasks in accordance with cGMP and HSE requirements, and with the associated instructions, procedures, records, related to these tasks.
3. Recording all expected raw data, calculations, information, related to his/her tasks, to comply with cGMP and data integrity requirement
4. Ensuring that he/she is trained and qualified to the assigned analytical testing that requires to be qualified
5. Performing the QC data review of executed tests by other analysts in a timely manner, ensuring adherence to the committed scheduled plans
6. Informing his/her manager of any quality or HSE event (deviations, OOx,…) in a timely manner to ensure investigation and impact assessment are performed appropriately
7. Participating actively to any investigation, where he/she is involved, to ensure investigations and impact assessment are performed appropriately
8. Executing assigned CAPAs related to remediation plans, continuous improvements
9. Ensuring that his/her lab/facilities, lab instruments are kept in a quality and safety status to ensure that they can be used appropriately.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
10. Degree in a Scientific background.
11. Initiative – be able to work in a self-directed manner to see issues through to completion.
12. Work with the team and should be able to prioritize the work.
13. Extensive knowledge of cGMP and GDP in a regulated environment.
14. Working knowledge of quality systems in a regulated environment.
15. Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
16. Excellent interpersonal skills.
