Role Overview:
As a B2B Marketing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in executing marketing strategies across the UK and Canada. You will collaborate with Product Marketing and Sales teams to create and manage demand generation campaigns, ensuring our dealer customers connect with a high-intent audience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Strategy Development: Develop campaign plans that align with the UK business strategy, utilising various marketing channels to achieve defined goals.
* Campaign Management: Execute and manage marketing campaigns across email, direct mail, paid display, social media, and more to drive revenue and reduce churn.
* Campaign optimisation: utilise marketing automation tools and data analytics to continuously improve campaign performance, ensuring optimal engagement.
* Testing and Measurement: analyse campaign effectiveness through metrics, A/B testing, and reporting, sharing insights with stakeholders.
* Segmentation and Targeting: Implement audience segmentation strategies to personalise messaging and reach the right audience.
* Event Support: Assist in coordinating and executing sales events, collaborating with the events team for seamless operations.
* Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Product Marketing, and Business Operations to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
* Budget Management: Oversee the budget for demand generation and retention programmes, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
* Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends and competitor strategies to inform marketing initiatives.
What You'll Bring:
* Experience: 2+ years in B2B marketing, preferably in a small/medium tech environment; automotive industry experience is a plus.
* Marketing Knowledge: Strong grasp of marketing principles, strategies, and tactics, with the ability to align campaigns with business goals.
* Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to develop effective demand generation plans that yield measurable results.
* Initiative and Drive: Creative mindset to generate impactful campaign ideas while striving for performance improvement.
* Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey insights and recommendations effectively.
* Data Analytics Proficiency: Familiarity with analytics tools (Looker, Salesforce, Google Analytics) and marketing automation platforms (Marketo preferred).
* Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with CRM systems and email marketing tools, with experience in Marketo and Salesforce being advantageous.
* Copywriting Skills: Ability to write and edit compelling marketing copy for campaigns.
* Project Management: Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
* Attention to Detail: Precision in tracking campaign data and executing all elements accurately.
* Self-Starter: Ability to work independently with limited direction while proactively identifying solutions.
