Financial Controller (Part-time) Construction Co. Laois Position Description An excellent opportunity to lead the finance function within a leading smaller, well-established construction company with projects nationwide and head office in Co. Laoise. Part-time, c. 2.5 days/week, office-based position. Reporting to the MD, key responsibilities will include: Financial Reporting (P&L, BS, Cashflow, management of year-end audit process) Management Reporting, Cost Analysis, Budget oversight and KPI reporting WIP reporting, project accounting and job costing Budgeting and Forecasting, with variance analysis Ensuring robust financial controls in place Management reporting pack presentation to SLT Providing insights and recommendations to improve profitability and cost efficiency Working alongside project managers, monitoring project costs, forecasting, and exercising strong cost Team Leadership oversight over finance operations team (AP, AR, Payroll) Candidate Background Ideal candidate will have the following background: Qualified Accountant with strong technical accounting and analytical skills Construction or Engineering industry experience a definite plus Systems and systems Savvy, Evolution accounting software beneficial About our Client Our client is a leading, well-established construction company with an impressive track record, and varied projects ongoing nationwide.
