Analytical Techniques Specialist - Permanent Role
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Analytical Techniques Specialist to join our team in a permanent capacity. As a key member of our Biologics Division, you will be responsible for carrying out analytical tests using various techniques such as HPLC, GC, MS and similar methods.
The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of GMP regulations applied to a laboratory environment and be able to troubleshoot issues based on specific requests. You will also assist in developing and verifying analytical methods, processing test samples, and disposing of laboratory waste safely and compliantly.
Responsibilities
* Carrying out analytical tests using different techniques like HPLC, Capillary Electrophoresis, UV-Vis spectroscopy, Ion Chromatography, GC, and wet chemistry.
* Practical and theoretical knowledge on several analytical techniques with capability of troubleshooting based on the specific request.
* Strong knowledge of GMP regulation applied to a laboratory environment.
* Assist in developing and/or verification/validation of analytical methods that use equipment like HPLC, Ion and Gas Chromatography, spectrophotometers as well as wet chemistry techniques and compendial methods.
* Receipt and processing of test samples in LIMS.
* Safe and compliant disposal of all laboratories generated waste.
* Carry out data calculations and basic statistics.
* Assist in internal, regulatory and client visits/audits and respond to findings.
* Sourcing, purchasing and stocking consumables, standards and reagents required for testing.
Requirements
* BSc/MSc in a relevant science discipline (e.g. chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacy, and biotechnology).
* Min 3 years relevant experience in Laboratory preferably within a GMP regulated environment (EMEA/FDA) within the Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, CRO, CMO, CDMO Industry.
* Analytical techniques (HPLC, GC, MS and similar) experience essential.
* Experience in development and validation of analytical methods according to ICH guideline required but not essential.
* Experience in analytical techniques/immunoassays desirable but not essential.
