Cross Border Payments Career Opportunity
The role involves driving strategic forward thinking for the transformation of our Global Cross Border Payment infrastructure and its Payments Capability. The position requires a deep understanding of industry developments, regulations, infrastructure, and client needs to build best in class payments solutions.
This role is part of the Global Cross Border Payments team, reporting to the Global Cross Border Transformation Head. Key responsibilities include developing detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, and status reports. Additionally, providing strategic business direction for projects managed and exercising control over resources, budget management, and planning.
A strong Risk and Control discipline is essential in all stages of program delivery. The ideal candidate will be able to assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets.
Key skills required for this role include excellent experience in partnering with Product, Operations, Technology to resolve issues. This involves interactions with AML, Compliance Assurance, and Internal Audit. Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and persuade colleagues across disparate businesses, regions, and cultures.
Additionally, the candidate should have well-developed listening skills and a strong ability to engage at the senior management level. They must also be able to understand and operate successfully in a complex, heavily matrixed environment.
Furthermore, the candidate should have experience in Banking and Financial Services Domain, including Retail, Investment Banking, Banking Payments such as High Value Domestic /Cross Border, Domestic Low Value Payments, SEPA CT, SWIFT MT, and ISO 20022 XML Messages. They should also understand the Travel Rule/FATF/Consent Order regulatory requirements and expectations. ISO20022 experience is a must.
Finally, the candidate should have handled large scale implementations, be well-versed with Citi Policies & Procedures, Tools such as PTS (Project Tracking System), PAT (Process Automation tool), JIRA, Confluence Page, and Share points. A Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree, is also preferred.
