Job Title: Data Centre Technician
Maintaining and troubleshooting technical issues within a data centre environment requires excellent problem-solving skills, independence, and strong communication. The ideal candidate will have experience in data centres and be able to handle IT hardware with confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Complete tasks to specified standards
* Perform hands-on support after taking instruction from support groups
* Assist in resolving physical network faults and hardware problems
* Maintain all relevant logs
* Respond to ad-hoc, low-level skill tasks while on the telephone
* Alert the manager to actual or potential service problems
Requirements:
* PC literate and confident handling IT hardware
* Data centre experience
* Full clean driving license
* Flexible and responsive to business demands
* Able to work unsupervised for long periods
