My client is a leading Mechanical Installations company with operations in Ireland, The UK andMainland Europe and they specialise in Data Centres, Energy Centres and Shell and Core. Due totheir ongoing growth, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team.The role will be split between their office in Westmeath and Projects in Mainland Europe. HotelAccommodation and flights will be provided when travelling to Europe.Duties:Liaise with client and design team on procurement and engineering issuesDevelop project Site safety and Quality plansMobilise sub-contractors and labourAgree a training plan for staff and operatives particular to your site in conjunction with the Operations DirectorManage your site team in the effective day to day running of site activitiesEnsure compliance with programme, materials deliveries and engineering, quality and safety issuesAttend meetings with ClientsHold weekly progress meetings with Specialist sub-contractors and ensure that safety and training are discussedEnsure effective cost and sales control in conjunction with Quantity Surveyor.Ensure productivity at work face is measured on a weekly basis also maintain project progress controlEnsure testing and commissioning is carried out in accordance with the Quality PlanEnsure all systems are demonstrated to ClientPrepare final account with the QS, submit and agree with client in line with company objectivePut forward idea's for continuous improvement of companyMaintain excellent working relationships with the client from project start up to project completionRequirements:Building Services Engineer / Mechanical Engineer or Senior Trades qualification or equivalentSignificant Project management experience 6+ years.Previous record of delivering mechanical projectsPre-commissioning & Mechanical System turnover experienceHVAC and building services experienceCommercial AwarenessExcellent communicator/strong interpersonal skills/communicates with impactGood Computer / PC skillsIf you are interested in applying for this role, please click the link below
