We are seeking a highly experienced and driven
Site Agents – Structures/Earthworks/Utilities
to lead the works on a major construction project in Dublin.
The role involves managing the delivery of structural elements, ensuring quality, safety, and programme compliance, while coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the execution of
works, including concrete, steel, and precast elements.
* Oversee daily site activities, ensuring alignment with project plans, specifications, and safety protocols.
* Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of works.
* Ensure Site performance and Cost control
* Maintain and report cost
* Maintain and report production performance
* Ensure management of works to budget
* Develop and maintain detailed work programmes, short-term lookaheads, and resource plans.
* Liaise with operations teams to manage access, logistics, and operational constraints.
* Ensure all structural works meet design specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
* Conduct inspections and quality checks, and manage non-conformance reports (NCRs).
* Maintain accurate records of site activities, inspections, and progress.
* Promote and enforce a strong safety culture on site.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations, project-specific safety plans, and statutory requirements.
* Lead toolbox talks, safety briefings, and incident investigations.
* Manage and mentor site engineers, foremen, and other site staff.
* Report progress, risks, and issues to the Construction Manager and Project Manager.
* Collaborate with design, planning, and commercial teams to resolve technical and programme challenges.
* Ensure compliance as temporary works coordinator
Key Requirements:
* Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline essential.
* Minimum 8 years of experience in Civils/Structural construction with at least 3 years of Reinforced concrete construction management.
* Proven experience in high-security infrastructure projects is highly desirable
* Strong knowledge of structural construction methods, temporary works, and sequencing.
* Proficient in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project,, AutoCAD).
* Valid Safe Pass and relevant certifications (e.g., CSCS, Manual Handling)
