We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager (Mechanical) to join our team on a major 200MW Energy Centre project in West Dublin. This is a key leadership role within the delivery team, responsible for managingmechanical contracts from pre-construction through construction and commissioning, ensuring programme, cost, quality, and safety objectives are achieved.The role is delivered acrossthree key project phases:Pre-ConstructionConstructionCommissioningDelivery of the role is underpinned byfour core project pillars:EHS – Health & SafetyQualityCommercialPlanningThe successful candidate will bring strong mechanical delivery experience, proven design coordination capability, and a solid backgroundin large-scale energy or heavy industrial projects.Key ResponsibilitiesManage mechanical contracts throughout the delivery phase, ensuring compliance with contractual, technical, and commercial requirementsLead design coordination and engineering development, working closely with consultants, designers, and construction teamsDrive pre-construction integration, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams (civil, electrical, process, controls, commissioning)Support procurement strategies, contract negotiations, and change managementEnsure full compliance with EHS (Health & Safety), environmental, and quality standardsMonitor project progress, commercial performance, cost control, planning, and risk managementInterface with client representatives, stakeholders, and senior project leadershipRequired Experience & QualificationsDegree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical EngineeringStrong experience as a Contracts Manager / Senior Mechanical Manager on large-scale projectsProven mechanical delivery-phase experience (essential)Demonstrable knowledge of steam systems and large industrial plantExperience in design coordination and engineering developmentProven ability to integrate pre-construction activities within multidisciplinary teamsBackground in one or more of the following sectors:Power / Energy ProjectsPharmaceutical ManufacturingData CentresHeavy Industrial FacilitiesKey Skills & CompetenciesStrong commercial and contractual acumenExcellent coordination and leadership skillsAbility to manage complex interfaces and stakeholder relationshipsProactive problem-solver with strong planning capabilityEffective communicator across technical and non-technical teamsWhat's on OfferImmediate start on a high-profile 200MW Energy Centre projectLong-term opportunity with a leading engineering firmExcellent remunerationVehicle / travel allowancesFull benefits package, including bonusPlease contact for a confidential chat
