We are looking for an Azure Cloud Engineer for an initial 6-month contract on a hybrid basis in Dublin.
Job Description - The Role Deloitte is working with one of Europe's most significant and highly regulated institutions on a large-scale cloud and digital transformation programme.
This organisation operates at national scale, under intense regulatory scrutiny, and is investing heavily in modern, secure, cloud-first infrastructure.
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to join this high-profile engagement on an initial 6-month contract, contributing to the design, automation, and operation of complex cloud networking and infrastructure platforms.
You will work at the heart of a mission-critical environment, collaborating with senior engineers, security specialists, and architects to deliver resilient, secure, and scalable cloud solutions.
What you'll do; Support the design, build, and operation of cloud infrastructure solutions, primarily in Microsoft Azure Contribute to the development and maintenance of Infrastructure as Code (Ia C) using Terraform, with guidance from senior engineers where required Assist in the implementation and automation of cloud networking components, such as virtual networks, routing, and connectivity Work within Dev Ops / Dev Sec Ops pipelines, helping to automate the deployment of infrastructure through CI/CD tooling Support the management and configuration of cloud environments across multiple regions Collaborate with security and governance teams to help ensure infrastructure is deployed in line with organisational standards Maintain scripts, templates, and configuration files to support repeatable and self-service infrastructure deployment Participate in Agile delivery ceremonies and contribute to team improvements and knowledge sharing Assist with testing, validation, and troubleshooting of infrastructure and automation pipelines The skills you'll need: Proven experience working in cloud, infrastructure, or platform engineering roles Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure in a delivery or operational capacity Some experience or strong interest in Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform Exposure to cloud networking concepts, such as virtual networks, routing, or connectivity Good knowledge of Dev Ops or Dev Sec Ops practices Experience contributing to or supporting CI/CD pipelines (e.g.
Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub Actions, Jenkins, or similar) Technical & Ways of Working Familiarity with one or more scripting or configuration languages (e.g.
