Procurement Professional
We seek a seasoned procurement professional with expertise in electronics and strong negotiation skills to manage key supplier accounts, balance cost, quality, and delivery.
The successful candidate will report to the head of Sustainability & Supply Chain and be responsible for managing continuous cost reduction, material risks, and supply chain disruptions to improve availability.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supplier Management: Research, evaluate, and develop new and existing suppliers of electronic components to secure competitive prices, favorable payment and freight terms, and optimal lead times.
* Negotiation: Lead negotiations with suppliers leveraging market intelligence and commodity price analysis to secure cost savings and develop new relationships.
* Procurement Strategy: Align procurement activities with overall business goals to ensure project success.
* Cost & Risk Management: Manage and mitigate continuous cost reduction and material risks to reduce supply chain disruptions.
* Internal Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments to meet production demands, manage inventory, and ensure project success.
Requirements:
* Electronics Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of the electronics supply chain, including component types, major suppliers, and market dynamics.
* Negotiation Expertise: Proven ability to negotiate terms, secure cost savings, and develop new relationships with existing and potential suppliers.
* Analytical & Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to interpret market data, make informed purchasing decisions, and resolve complex supply issues.
* ERP/Procurement Systems: Proficiency in using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and other procurement software.
