Breakfast Waiting Staff (Part-Time)
The Mariner Hotel is a family-owned, welcoming hotel in the heart of Westport. We are currently looking for passionate and enthusiastic Breakfast Waiting Staff to join our award winning breakfast team and help create an exceptional start to our guests' day.
Position Overview:
As a member of our award winning Breakfast team, you will play a key role in ensuring our guests enjoy a relaxing and enjoyable breakfast experience. Your main responsibilities will include serving breakfast to our guests, maintaining a clean and welcoming dining area, and providing excellent customer service with a smile. You will work closely with our kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure the breakfast service runs smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
* Guest Service: Greet and serve guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring they have an exceptional breakfast experience.
* Food & Beverage Service: Serve breakfast items, including hot and cold food, beverages, and condiments, efficiently and with attention to detail.
* Setting up & Clearing: Prepare the breakfast area before service (setting tables, replenishing stations), and clear tables promptly after guests finish.
* Customer Care: Respond to guests' needs and enquiries in a timely and courteous manner, ensuring their satisfaction throughout the service.
* Cleanliness & Hygiene: Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the breakfast area, ensuring all areas meet hygiene and safety standards.
* Collaboration: Work closely with other breakfast team members, the kitchen team, and the management to ensure smooth service during breakfast hours.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role is an advantage, but not essential.
* A friendly, professional, and positive attitude towards guests and colleagues.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Good time management and attention to detail.
* Flexible availability, including weekends and early morning shifts.
* An interest in food and beverage service with a focus on quality and presentation.
