KeyResponsibilities Deliverables:Managing deadlines, outputs, KPIs, ensuring we maintain our high standards.
Client oversight: Maintain excellent communication internally and externally with proactive management of deliverables across the firm.
Automation:Work closely with our software engineers to develop and deploy our systems for automating bookkeeping, accounting, and tax processes, improving client experience.
Team leadership: coach and develop junior accountants to enable them to provide independent client delivery, while identifying any gaps in knowledge or capabilities and working with management to remedy.
Review & sign-off: ensure all tax returns, including Corporation Tax, VAT, PAYE and Income Tax, and financial statements are prepared in line with legislation and regulations.
Self development:Continuously develop your knowledge and skills and stayupdatedonIrishaccountingandtaxregulations,sharinginsightswiththeteam.
KeyRequirements Fullyqualifiedaccountant(ACA,CPA,ACCA), 5+ yearsPQEin a small to medium accountancy firm setting.
Demonstrated people leadership (coaching, workload planning, feedback).
Problem solverwith demonstrable evidence of driving continuous improvement.
Strongtechnicalknowledge of Irish accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements, demonstrating hunger for continuous development.
Excellent written & verbal communication; organised, deadline-driven, and client-focused.
As part of our selection process, shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a psychometric assessment, which includes a numerical reasoning and personality profile component.
This will take place after initial shortlisting, and results will help us better understand each candidates approach to problem-solving, leadership, and communication.
