We are seeking a skilled Printer to join a dynamic team! In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining flexographic printing machines to produce high-quality packaging materials that meet industry standards and client expectations. You will work closely with the production team, ensuring that all printed materials are precise, accurate, and meet strict quality specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate & Maintain Flexographic Printers: Set up, calibrate, and operate flexographic printing machines to meet production requirements.
* Quality Control: Monitor print quality and adjust settings to ensure high-quality output that meets client specifications and standards.
* Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform regular maintenance on printing equipment, identify and troubleshoot issues, and conduct minor repairs to minimise downtime.
* Ink and Material Management: Prepare and mix inks to achieve the desired colour match, manage ink levels, and ensure proper substrates are loaded for each job.
* Documentation: Record maintenance activities, machine settings, production data, and any repairs performed.
* Collaborate with Production Team: Work closely with the production team to ensure schedules are met and production runs smoothly.
* Safety Compliance: Ensure all operations are carried out according to company safety standards and industry regulations.
Required Qualifications:
* Experience: At least 1 year of hands-on experience operating and maintaining flexographic printing machines
* Technical Skills: Solid understanding of flexographic printing technology, inks, plates, substrates, and print finishes.
* Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain high standards of print quality and precision.
* Safety Awareness: Understanding of safety protocols and best practices for machine operation and maintenance.
* Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in a fast-paced environment for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Certification or training in flexographic printing technologies or related fields.
* Previous experience in GMP environments
* Knowledge of flexographic printing systems is a plus.
