Technical Sales Specialist CREGG is seeking a driven and technically skilled Technical Sales Specialist to join our clients expanding sales team. This full-time, field-based role is focused on identifying and developing new business opportunities across all manufacturing sectors throughout Ireland. The Technical Sales Specialist will deliver tailored workholding solutions to new and existing clients, working closely with internal teams to drive revenue growth. Key Responsibilities: Identify and pursue new business opportunities across all manufacturing sectors for workholding solutions. Understand customer needs and align product offerings to provide effective technical solutions. Deliver product demonstrations and compelling presentations to communicate the value of engineering solutions. Collaborate with the sales team to identify, qualify, and close sales opportunities. Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high customer satisfaction and repeat business. Contribute to pricing strategies and contract negotiations with technical insights. Manage your territory proactively, regularly reviewing performance with management. Generate tenders and quotes, and ensure projects are delivered in scope by liaising with the design team. Log activity and manage pipeline using CRM and digital calendar tools. Conduct after-sales calls to ensure satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelors degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related field is beneficial. Minimum 5 years experience in a technical sales or sales engineering role, preferably in workholding/tooling. Strong technical acumen with the ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts. Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets. Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and documents. Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
