Post 1263 - Payroll Administrator (Grade IV) Dublin(NBC) Post 1263 Payroll Administrator Grade IV, Finance Department Full Time - Permanent National Blood Centre The IBTS is currently recruiting a full-time, permanent Payroll Administrator based in the Finance Department, National Blood Centre. The Payroll Clerk is a key role in the Finance Department working with the payroll supervisor, budget managers and Directors to ensure all staff are paid correctly for the hours they work every fortnight. The role involves ensuring the smooth operation of the fortnightly payroll, working to tight deadlines. The payroll clerk carries out many important functions in terms of starters and leavers and statutory and non-statutory pay overs on behalf of staff. Essential Criteria: At least 3 years of experience operating in a payroll/clerical or finance role. Excellent analytical skills and a high degree of computer literacy. Excellent attention to detail and a problem solver. Very good interpersonal skills including excellent communication skills Desirable Criteria: Knowledge and experience of PAYE, PRSI and Social Welfare payments. Irish Payroll Association IPASS qualification or willingness to undertake the qualification. Possess a payroll skillset and working to tight deadlines. Knowledge of how statutory and non-statutory deductions are accounted for. Be highly numerate and accurate in recording of transactions. An ability to work on ones own initiative. Experience of public sector pay desirable. The salary scale attached to the post is the Grade IV scale €35,256 to €54,370 (incl. LSI) pro rata per annum.
